Heating UK homes
Rising energy bills, the need to reduce carbon emissions and a raft of challenging legislation are driving the demand for alternative forms of heating to improve energy efficiency.
We have developed an advanced range of renewable air source heat pumps to tackle these issues head on.
The Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI) is a Government financial incentive to promote the use of renewable heat. People who join the scheme receive 7 years of quarterly payments for each kilowatt of clean, green renewable heat their system produces. This could mean an average home receiving hundreds of £’s per year.
The payment can also be increased further by an additional £1,610 over 7 years by adding a Metering & Monitoring Service Package (MMSP) from Mitsubishi Electric.
Achieve Target CO2 Emissions
Housing developers are being asked to adhere to increasingly strict building regulations. An Ecodan air source heat pump can help them achieve the carbon reduction targets for their new build homes while offering a state of the art intelligent renewable heating system.
Energy bills and carbon emissions are likely to be much higher in existing homes, due to lower insulation levels and older heating systems. Eligible for RHI funding, an Ecodan system can also significantly reduce both running costs and CO2 emissions.
An Ecodan to suit
From the Isle of Skye to the Isle of Wight, in flats, bungalows, houses and even stately homes – there is an Ecodan to suit every need. Whether in a new-build or an existing home, working on its own or in conjunction with an existing heating system, Ecodan can help cut energy bills and earn quarterly payment from the Government’s RHI scheme.
